Lovet celebrates Grand Rapids Pride 2026

KEY TAKEAWAYS

Grand Rapids Pride gave our team the opportunity to meet local pet parents, celebrate an inclusive community, and reinforce our commitment to making vet care approachable for everyone.

There are few things better than spending a sunny day surrounded by pets, families, and a community that believes everyone belongs. That's exactly what our team experienced at the 38th annual Grand Rapids Pride Festival, where we were proud to join thousands of attendees in celebrating inclusion and connection.

Throughout the day, we had the chance to meet so many wonderful pet parents, hand out rainbow bandanas, pup cups, and Lovet swag, and talk with people about their pets and the care they deserve. Every conversation reminded us why being part of events like Pride matters, whether someone stopped by to say hello, ask a question, or simply grab a treat for their four-legged friend.

One of the most meaningful moments came from the conversations we had with members of the LGBTQ+ community. As Dr. Noah shared after the event, "So many people came up at Pride to say that seeing us there made them feel safe bringing their pet in for an appointment." Hearing that reinforced what we strive for every day: creating a welcoming place where every pet parent feels comfortable seeking the vet care they need.

After the event, we even got to reconnect with familiar faces. Jessica Tibbs, one of our hospital managers, shared that a Standale client told her they had booked an appointment after seeing Lovet at Pride this year. Moments like these remind us that showing up for our community helps build relationships that last well beyond a single event.

To everyone who stopped by our booth, shared a story about your pet, or let us spoil your pup with a bandana or pup cup: thank you! We feel lucky to be part of such a welcoming community, and we're already looking forward to celebrating with you again next year.

If you're looking for a veterinarian who makes care accessible, convenient, and easy to love, we'd be happy to welcome you to one of our hospitals.
